I know what type of fibers that I do like and have expanded in what I use to so many different types that I could NEVER raise all my own fiber. I wouldn't have enough energy in a day to care for them all let alone do any fiber work. :-) I use alpaca, llama, French Angora Rabbit, Wensleydale, Teeswater, Lincoln, Cotswold, Merino, CVM Romedale, Bamboo, Silk, Milk Protein, Angelina and Fire Star, BFL, Polwarth, Mohair and other various fibers. That is a lot of animals and a lot of different Animal TYPES. I spin and use fiber from my own perosnally grown critters as well as from other local ranches and other suppliers.
