Kyeema Ridge’s The Duke has bred two of my does for late spring/early summer kiddings.  I am so looking forward to seeing what he throws.  He is a lovely boy, and his colors and pattern have really grown on me.  I particularly like his RED socks that no photo will ever do justice.

Kyeema Ridge‘s Roy Rogers is a nice addition to our herd.  I am looking forward to breeding him with my best milkers, who are also black, and getting lovely spotted black and white goats.  He is very friendly and loves being scratched on the head between his ears.  He is inquisitive and likes to try new things.

DOB:  17 April 2015

Sire:  Castle Rock Black Bacarra *B
Grand Sire:  Castle Rock Cleveland Sage *B 2015 Elite Buck
Grand Dam:  GCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun *M VEEE90

Dam:  Kyeema Ridge GG Georgia VVEE88
Grand Sire:  Hill Country’s KW Golden Ghost *S
Grand Dam:  Moxie Blues Jumpup N Jitterbug

Santi Ridge Farm’s Amasanti BB California Gold is the youngest buck we currently have.  He comes from a line of top 10 milkers, beautiful udders with great production, permanent champions and milk stars.  My does are very good milkers and I was looking for a particularly milky buck and think I have found him.  He is friendly and very easy to work with and I will be watching him closely as he matures.  Fred’s sire, Black Bacarra, is a west coast buck that Santi Ridge brought to MI and we are both looking forward to seeing what they will do.  Fred is the largest of the first kidding from Bacarra, a set of quad!

Update Sept 2016:  Fred’s first kids are on the ground.  A beautiful set of triplets in colors and patterns I have never had from our new doe Meg’s Mini Rachelle.

DOB: 26 January 2015

Sire: Caplon Kidz Flynn
Grand Sire:  Cloven Trail Ogopogo
Grand Dam:  J-Nels LY Samosa

Dam: Rhythmic Acres Lil Kali
Grand Sire:  Kaapio Acres Hot Estate Bucky
Grand Dam:  Irish Whisper Moon Over Miami

Chicory is a lovely swiss marked buckskin.  I do love this color combination with the white, silver, black and golds he has in his coat.  Chicory’s dam side excels in milk production with 3.5 and 4 lb/day milkers.  It was one of the main reasons that I bought this boy, besides his stunning good looks.  His sire side has show experience with MCH and ARMCH on both his grand sire and grand dam sides.  I can’t wait to see what he throws as he is bred to one of my favorite does this year.

Wild Columbine Perseus

Wild Columbine Perseus

DOB:  04 March 2013

Sire:  Wild Columbine Danc’nthe Stars
Grand Sire:  Wild Columbine King of Hearts
Grand Dam:  Wild Columbine All That Jazz

Dam:  Forget Me Not Winsome
Grand Sire:  Wild Columbine Dasher
Grand Dam:  Wild Columbine Windy

He was only interested in the feeder and hay and would not hold still for me to get a good photo of him.  We  managed to catch a better photo of him this year but still not the best because he just won’t hold still.  Apparently he is camera shy.
