It has been a bit since I updated my journal. 😥 But I thought maybe that I should drop a line here even if it is short. 🙂 I am officially back down firmly to having 140 pds (10 stone) off. No water retention going on, no flucuating, just a solid 140 pds off. I think after my anniversary weigh in that I jumped up 3 pds immediately and than another 2 and than back down to only having gained 3 pds but stayed there for almost two weeks. I have not been exercising much the last month and I can see a huge difference in my weight lost. it is pretty much non existant ❗ I have not had a huge appetite now for weeks, and being so busy with Chaz home and doing all sorts of things has kept my mind focused so that I have not been eating out of boredom so my weight crept down that three pounds so I can say that I have it FIRMLY off now. Unless I am really strict with the quantity and the quality of what I eat right now, I either maintain my weight or creep upwards. That is because I have lost so much and my body doesn’t need as many calories to just exist like it used to. So my options now to continue my weight loss is to get back to my exercising and weight lifting, and continue to be strict with the quantity of my food intake. I am still struggling with pain in my right side of my back that came from the injury that I had while I was in Colorado. When I had my massage, this pain started and even now almost 8 weeks later it is still there in twinges. Physiotherapist still doesn’t know if it is a cracked rib or pulled intercoastal muscles, I am thinking that even if it WAS a cracked rib that the coninued pain is probalby more than likely the muscles still rebelling some. The question is WHY ❓ It makes lifting weights rather difficult since you do need the muscles in your back to stablise your torso when lifting with free weights. I still do my Tai Chi but my body is getting used to it enough that the few times that I do it isn’t enough unless I really increase the intesity as well as the freqency. Walking is something that I normally do, but with two of our three dogs in season and being mated it makes it a bit difficult. I can go for a walk but they can’t 🙁 So hopefully in a week or so I can get back to doggie walking again, as well as we are thinking of looking for a few new bike trails this week so that I can start riding my moutain bike again. that way even if I can’t lift weights right now, I can still get some exercise in. I feel so much better than I used to. I took a walk down memory lane (rat packing as my family calls it) and looked at a lot of old picutres and was rather shocked at how huge I used to be. I feel SOOOO much better now than I did than. can move so much easier, sit more comfortably, do more things that in the past I had to think about to figure out how to do it with the least amount of pain and injury, now I just DO IT! 😆 We even did a lot of rearranging and unpacking and moving of boxes last night. Yes we have lived here for almost two years and yes we are NOT unpacked yet. can’t until more closets and storage is built. 😆 We have mated our youngest pup Prue, and our middle dog Abbey. Prue is a two year old black and white border collie, while Abbey is a three year old red tricolour border collie. They ended up both being mated with Ben, a steel blue merle border collie. He has one blue eye, and one brown one that has a blue spot in it as well as he has a bit of RED on his ears. so it will be very interesting to see what we come up with colour wise with the two females. I think that we might get lucky and end up with a RED merele. that would be cool. well off we go for another service to Abbey and will endevour to get off my butt and get back to exercising amidst all this busyness 😉
